About Us

This website was born in 2023 in order to provide an accurate and current hub for ALL things North Idaho.

North Idaho is unique for its diverse landscape of mountains, lakes, and forests, as well as its distinct four-season climate. It also has a rich history and culture, with a mix of indigenous, mining, and logging influences. The region offers a host of outdoor activities and a slower-paced way of life.

The goal of Only North Idaho is to provide accurate and helpful information.

• We aim to always be respectful and considerate of the natural environment. We are called to be good stewards of the earth and it’s something we take seriously.
• Ultimately we place the highest value on relationships and people. We aim to show respect to everyone; to those who want to experience our great state for the first time, and to those who have lived here for their entire lives.

Only North Idaho – Current Status

As of February 2023 we are a small and baby website. There is a lot of new content planned and being written. It will be added as soon as it’s available.

April 2023 – There are 8 posts here on the website including a guide to Upper Priest Lake that we’re especially proud of. More to come!
